Module Outline |
Module 7: Perception |
Perception is the process of making sense of what we sense. Module 7 explains how we take the information our senses provide and interpret what it means. The module starts with how we organize the individual pieces of information from our senses into a whole. |
Depth perception is discussed next. Both monocular (one eye) and binocular (two eyes) techniques are explained. How we are fooled into thinking motion exists when none is presented is detailed. |
Module 7 concludes with detailing perceptual constancy, perceptual set, and various illusions. |
