Instructor Feedback Tools

Powerful commenting tools allow instructors to focus their feedback on select goals for each draft and efficiently mark patterns of error. Feedback in Achieve is designed to help students understand their instructor’s comments and organize a revision plan. Draft Goals and Editing Marks link to e-book content to help guide revision and provide students with point-of-need support within the context of their own writing.

Revision Plan

The Revision Plan helps students turn feedback into strategies for strengthening their writing. Revision planning provides instructors with additional insight into how well students understand and apply the feedback they’ve received on their work.

  1. The revision plan allows students to create tasks as they revise their writing. 
  2. Revision tasks can be edited and reprioritized using drag and drop.
  3. Draft Goal tags help students see connections between tasks.

Reflection

Achieve supports reflection pedagogy, allowing instructors to build prompts into each writing assignment, helping students carry what they’ve learned from one assignment, one course, to the next. Peer Review
